Marriott Bonvoy Moments is the heir to SPG Moments and is a program that allows Marriott Bonvoy members to spend their points on sports, concerts, and experiences rather than on hotel stays.
With most of the entertainment and sporting world effectively closed to the public for the past year, the Moments program had been put on ice, but with live audiences now back in arenas and with sporting stadia filling up, Marriott has announced that its Moments packages are on their way back.
Here’s a taster of what Marriott’s Bonvoy Moments is currently offering and what’s (apparently) on the way:
Sports Moments
For the first time ever, Marriott Bonvoy members can celebrate the start of the NFL season with exclusive access to the NFL’s Kickoff celebrations – including tickets to the NFL’s Kickoff Eve Party the night before the game, as well as the VIP Concert Viewing Party leading up to the game on Thursday, September 9th. The experience will culminate with game tickets to watch the opening game.
At the time of writing the bidding on this package is at 212,500 Points.
Improve your tennis skills at a clinic hosted by former #1 Andy Roddick and attend the Laver Cup

Bottom Line
Marriott Bonvoy Moments are back and that’s good news for anyone with a healthy points balance. While some of the “Moments” are easy to price up (and so allow you to work out what value you’re getting from each point that you spend), a lot are experiences that you may not be able to book or have without the use of Bonvoy points and that’s what makes this a great program to have access to.
Personally, I’ve used Moments packages to see concerts at Madison Square Garden, at the Hollywood Bowl, and at the O2 Arena in London which would have cost me far more in cash than they cost me in the Bonvoy Points that I used (and that’s assuming I would have been able to get the cash tickets in the first place) so this is a program that I really, really, like and that’s why I’m so happy to see it return.
Nobody cares about Bonvoy moments! Bring back Bonvoy benefits such as breakfast, upgrades and 4pm checkout to name a few. And stop making excuses for hotels poor standards, start holding them accountable!
