For a limited time, Hyatt has brought back a popular (with some) dining promotion that we first saw offered back in July last year and which ran for a significant number of months. The hotelier has also introduced a limited-time deal in which it’s offering guests free nights when they use their World of Hyatt points to book stays at any of its Miraval properties.

Earn up to 17 points/dollar on dining with Hyatt

Starting today, 1 October 2021, World of Hyatt members will earn 3x the usual number of points at participating eateries located within Hyatt properties when dining in, ordering take-out, or booking a food delivery from a participating outlet.

No registration is required but diners must provide their World of Hyatt membership number at the time of their purchase if they are to earn the bonus points.

Note: This promotion is not open to guests spending the night at Hyatt properties or on charges made to a room and will run through 10 February 2022.

Ordinarily, World of Hyatt members earn 5 points/dollar for dining at Hyatt eateries, so this resurrected promotion increases that earning rate to an impressive 15 points/dollar spent. In addition, when members pay with card_name (review), they’ll earn 2 additional Bonus Points for every dollar they spend taking their earnings up to 17 points/dollar.

Be aware that Hyatt is saying that outlet participation is limited and that not all restaurants/eateries may be participating in this promotion (Hyatt Residence Club, Hyatt Ziva, and Hyatt Zilara properties are definitely not participating). Anyone wanting to make the most of this deal should check that their chosen eatery is participating before making a booking or placing an order.

Hyatt’s Miraval free night offer

Hyatt has announced that guests who redeem points for a free night at one of its Miraval all-inclusive properties (award nights start at 45,000 points/night) will be rewarded with a second free night for the same stay.

Impressively, guests are not limited to one free night per stay. Hyatt has confirmed that World of Hyatt members will receive one free night for every night booked using points which, effectively, means that members can book Miraval stays for half the number of points usually needed.

This offer is valid for stays made between 1 November 2021 and 31 January 2022 at participating Miraval Resorts but there are a few terms and conditions that you need to know:

  • The offer is not valid on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • The offer is not valid from 24 December to 31 December 2021.
  • World of Hyatt members must request the offer code “Member Free Night” at the time of booking.
  • All nights on a reservation must be booked at the same time.
  • Free Night reservations must be made in advance by calling 866.792.3395.
  • World of Hyatt members will receive one additional free night for each night received by redeeming points for a Free Night.
  • Nightly Resort Credit will not be applied to the additional free night given with this offer.
  • Offer is not valid with groups/conventions and may not be combined with other promotional offers.
  • Offer only valid for World of Hyatt members with sufficient points for a free night at a Miraval resort.

Bottom line

Hyatt has just launched two new promotions that will run into next year.  All World of Hyatt members will earn between 15 and 17 points/dollar for dining at participating eateries through 10 February 2022 (pay close attention to the terms and conditions), and guests booking stays at participating Miraval properties will be given a free night for every night they book with points for stays between 1 November 2021 and 31 January 2022 (blackout days and dates apply).
