Hilton has launched a new sale that’s going to be of interest to anyone looking to visit the Asia-Pacific region this year. The sale is called “the great getaways” and encompasses Hilton properties across Australasia, India and Southeast Asia although it would appear as if not all properties are participating.

Hilton Great Getaways Sale – Headline T&Cs

  • Limited availability at the discounted rates.
  • Offer is subject to availability at all participating Hilton properties across Australasia, India, and Southeast Asia.
  • Valid for stays booked by 8am GMT, 30 April 2018
  • Valid for stays completed between 20 April 2018 and 31 December 2018.
  • 3 to 5 days advance reservations required depending on location/property.
  • Blackout dates may apply and vary by property.
  • Rates are valid for single/double occupancy and are exclusive of all taxes, incidental charges, gratuities, and resort fees where applicable.
  • Discount is from 15% to 20% off Flexible Rate (BAR) or Breakfast included across all participating properties.
  • Hilton Honors members will receive an additional 5% off BAR and/or Breakfast included.

Important to note:

BAR and Breakfast included are specific rate types that vary depending on time of purchase, are unrestricted, non-qualified and excludes discount rates.

Essentially what this means is that the discount isn’t being offered on the lowest rates so the actual savings will not be up to 25% off the cheapest prices you find.

Full non-refundable prepayment is required at time of booking so, although the discount is being calculated based on flexible rates, the reservation you’ll be making is not flexible at all – your credit card will be charged immediately for the total amount quoted for the entire stay

What’s On Offer?

The Conrad Bali from $137/night looks like decent value….

…a discount of over $50/night is pretty good for the Conrad Bangkok Residences….

…and, although I’ve seen Singapore properties priced cheaper, the Conrad Singapore would be my choice out of these three (despite the fact hat it’s the most expensive) as I really like the location.

There are some good deals to be had in the South Pacific too with prices in Queenstown looking very reasonable (for Queenstown)….

….room rates in Fiji looking pretty good….

…and there’s even a discount in Moorea:

It’s disappointing that Bora Bora hasn’t made the list of destinations in this sale and its annoying that, in Australia, only properties on the Gold Coast and in Cairns are participating….

….but it’s good to see the Conrad Maldives making an appearance:

Other properties and locations are on sale too (the full sale page is here) so the above selection is just a snapshot of what is available.

Bottom Line

Don’t forget that the reservations made in this sale are non-refundable so don’t make any bookings if there’s a chance your plans will change.

Also make sure you check prices of other properties in the cities you’re interested in as just because Hilton has a sale going doesn’t mean that it’s always going to be the best deal.
