If you hold a credit or charge card issued by American Express then you also have access to one of my favorite benefits – Amex Offers. Amex Offers are a great way of boosting your Membership Rewards balance or saving cold hard cash with selected retailers and I like them as a way of offsetting any annual fees I have to pay.

To see what Amex Offers you have been targeted for simply scroll down your Amex account homepage and you should see the “Amex Offers & Benefits” header:

Across my various Amex cards (of which two come with no annual fee) I’m currently seeing an impressive number of Amex Offers that offer savings or Membership Rewards Points for hotel bookings at a variety of chains including most of the chains popular with miles & points collectors.

Some of the offers need to be redeemed fairly soon but some are valid through January 2019 (and one is valid through February 2019) so there’s still time to get use out of them.

Amex Hotel Offers

IHG Offers

I value 10,000 Membership Rewards points at a conservative $150 so this could be a great rebate for anyone looking to book an InterContinental stay.

5,000 Membership Rewards is as good as $75 to me so this Amex offer is essentially giving me a rebate of up to 30%.

Marriott/Ritz-Carlton Offers

You can’t beat cashback and, although a rebate of up to 20% at Ritz-Carlton properties may not be “amazing value”, it does offer a good return for anyone looking to book before Christmas.

This is one of my favorite offers in this list as I’m a fan of a number of Luxury Collection properties – this rebate of up to 20% will almost certainly get used on an upcoming trip.

Hilton Offers

The two offers above both offer rebates of up to 20% but I favor the Waldorf/Conrad offer as I don’t think I’d spend $225 at a DoubleTree property.

As I mentioned earlier, 5,000 Membership Rewards is as good as $75 to me so this is a healthy 30% rebate that’s on offers….although this ends very soon!

Las Vegas Offers

Hotel rooms are usually pretty cheap in Vegas (and considering how little time I usually spend in my room when I’m in Vegas I don’t see the point of splashing out) but these deals (offering rebates of up to 30%) could be of use if you’re visiting in the next few weeks.

Other Hotel Offers

Lastly we have to offers of up to 20% back for stays at Omni properties and La Quinta Inns & Suites.

Don’t forget that these are only the Amex hotel offers that I can see on my American Express cards – these offers are targeted so you may have offers available to you that I don’t have so make sure you check your accounts.

Note: Make sure you check the terms and conditions of each offer very carefully – most (possibly all) restrict the offer to properties in the US (and sometimes US territories) so don’t assume the offers will work for bookings worldwide.
