Delta and some of its fellow SkyTeam members have posted some great Business Class fares for travel between Europe and the US. The fares start at around €1,086 for roundtrip travel and most of the good deals I’ve spotted are for departures out of Spain but Amsterdam and Paris may work as departure point too.

The Fare Rules In Brief

  • Travel through 24 June 2018
  • No end date for these fares has been provided so they could be pulled at any moment
  • Minimum stay ranges from 2 to 7 nights
  • Maximum stay is 3 months
  • No stopovers permitted

The Fares

The fares you’ll find listed below are for Business Class travel between Spain and the following cities:

  • New York
  • Orlando
  • Miami
  • Boston

Note 1: There may be good fares to other destinations too – I haven’t checked all major cities

Note 2: I have used ITA Matrix results to show the kind of availability you can expect but ITA doesn’t reliably show the cheapest fares at the higher search levels (as I will show later) so, if you use ITA Matrix to find fares, be sure to drill down into the results to get the most accurate fares.

Barcelona/Madrid – New York From €1,086 Roundtrip

Availability on this route is good throughout the booking period although the very best fares are limited to a few dates.

Here’s what availability looks like for March through May:

Here’s an example of an itinerary from ITA Matrix:

And here is that itinerary priced up on Delta.com:

You’ll find that good fares are available in June too although, if you use ITA Matrix, you may see results that look like this…

….while the fares are actually cheaper at around €1,333 for roundtrip Business Class travel:

Amsterdam or Barcelona – Orlando From €1,171 Roundtrip

This fare, like the others that I’ll be writing about below, piggybacks on the good fares between Spain and New York.

The fares are available on Delta.com….

…but the availability doesn’t look as good as it does on the New York route.

In fact, ITA Matrix only seems to show good fares available in March and April….

….but, if you employ Google Flights, you should be able to find good May/June Business Class fares that route through Amsterdam or Paris rather than New York:

Google Flights can take you straight to Delta.com where you’ll find the fares priced up:

If you can’t find the fares on Delta than make sure you check other SkyTeam airlines too as Air France is also showing good fares to Orlando (albeit still on Delta aircraft):

Other Good Business Class Fares To The US

There are good Business Class fares to Miami from around €1,260 for roundtrip travel….

….and to Boston from €1,411….

…but these fares are considerably harder to find than the fares I’ve posted to New York and Orlando so you may have to hunt around to find dates that work for you.

The Delta 767 Business Class Cabin

I’ve reviewed Delta’s 767 Business Class product (Delta One) on an overnight flight between New York and Madrid so that should give you a good idea of what you can expect.

The product is ok and better than a few other 767 products I’ve tried out but it’s certainly not class-leading.

Delta will be refitting some of its European 767 with the new Delta Suites product from this year but it will be the aircraft flying to/from the major European SkyTeam hubs (Paris/Amsterdam) that will get these upgraded aircraft first.

Bottom Line

These fares could be pulled at any moment so if you see something that works for you I wouldn’t wait too long before booking.

Yes, Deltas 767 Business Class cabin isn’t exactly the greatest product flying across the Atlantic but, at these prices, these fares are still pretty good.
