Yesterday I wrote about a number of very good Business Class fares that Etihad is currently offering out of Toronto (roundtrip fares start at under $1,800) and now it seems that the good deals have extended into Europe.

Right now there are some very good roundtrip Business Class fares on offer out of Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and even the UK and with prices starting at around €1,199 this is definitely a sale that’s worth considering.

Important Rules

The rules for the Business Class fares vary depending on the route so you’ll have to check the individual terms to find out the dates the fares are valid and the minimum/maximum length of stay…but all fares must be booked on/by 3 June 2019.

In some cases (like a number of fares from Germany) the prices are valid for travel between July and the middle of December while in other cases (like some of the fares out of Spain) the travel dates are considerably more restrictive – make sure you read the sale parameters carefully.

Bottom Line

There are some genuinely very good fares available in this sale with the €1,199 fare between Italy and Phuket, the €1,249 fare between Italy and Bangkok and the €2,499 fares between Germany and various Australian cities being the ones that appeal to me the most.

If you have a choice of aircraft on which to fly I’d choose the A380 over Etihad’s other aircraft with the Dreamliners in second place and the 777s in 3rd place…..but it’s not like you’re likely to have a bad experience or a poor Business Class cabin if you don’t fly in an A380.

Any readers tempted by these fares?

  1. As long Etihad not is a member of any alliance they can just forget all the specials as alliance members will not be interested. They can just fly tl royals and the cheapies and the revenue will not be too great! Who cares..,
