We’re always on the look out for any decent deals to our favourite group of islands and it looks like some of the airlines are in the mood to oblige.

Between them Delta, Alaska, Hawaiian and, to a lesser extent United, have some good deals to Oahu, Maui and Kauai for anyone willing to fly out of Seattle – this is possibly a good chance to get away form the Northwest’s winter and to grab some sunshine while you can.

OAHU

Alaska, Delta and Hawaiian Airlines appear to offer the best value on this route with dates starting from right about now through to the beginning of February. Pair these fares with a vacation rental at Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club to get a great last minute vacation.

MAUI

Not as many dates with good prices to Maui but there’s still a good amount of choice. Alaska and Delta offer the best deals on this route but MilagePlus members may consider it worthwhile to spend a few extra dollars to fly on United – milage earning and status benefits can easily outweigh the difference in fares. Matching these fares with either of the top-end Marriott and Starwood Maui vacation rental resorts could save you even more.

KAUAI

While Alaska provides the cheapest fares on this route, Delta, Hawaiian and United are not far behind. As before, Delta, United and Hawaiian elites will probably consider the difference in fares to be well worth the milage they’ll accrue and the status benefits they’ll receive by flying their primary airline.

With four great Marriott and Starwood vacation rental resorts to choose from this could be a great chance to see why we go back to Kauai every year – it really is spectacular.

We’re not trying to claim that the fares above are spectacular (not by any means) but $408 isn’t a bad deal for anyone wanting to visit Maui in prime Humpback watching season. Likewise $408 to spend some time relaxing on Oahu isn’t too bad – especially when the alternative is a Northwestern winter!
