Aer Lingus has launched a flash sale in which it has discounted the price of Economy and Business class fares on its transatlantic routes by up to $100. The discounts appear to only be valid for travel originating in North America and the Caribbean and only on travel taken before the end of the year, so the scope for savings is limited. Still, if you’re looking for a last-minute deal across the pond, Aer Lingus may be an airline worth considering.

Quick thoughts
With a number of the routes included in this sale not launching/restarting until December, this is a pretty miserly promotion from Aer Lingus but it may be of use to anyone looking for a last-minute fare.
Don’t forget that the fares you’ll find when you search the Aer Lingus website will already include the discount on offer (don’t expect a further discount to be added at checkout) and don’t forget to check the airline’s latest cancellation policies to ensure that you understand what exactly it is that you’re booking.
