Emirates has published a series of discounted fares for travel between the UK and various cities it serves (mainly in Asia and Oceania). Some of these fares look pretty good (especially some of the Economy Class fares) but you’re going to have to be quick if you want to book as some fares are only available for the next two days.

Bottom Line

There isn’t anything particularly seismic in these deals but there are a few that, considering the departure point and the airline in question, are definitely worthy of consideration.

Emirates’ densest Airbus A380s still offer more Economy Class legroom than most flights you’ll find going across the Atlantic (32″ vs 31″) and although the 17.5″ of seat width isn’t great it’s also par for modern day air travel (with a few notable exceptions).

One thing that’s worth mentioning is that if you haven’t flown in Emirates Business Class before you should be careful not to fall for any hype you may have heard. Emirates is a fantastic self-publicist and you could be forgiven for believing that the airline can do no wrong…but that’s not actually true.

Emirates Business Class cabins are nowhere near as good as those you’ll find on most Qatar Airways aircraft or as good as the seats you’ll find on Etihad’s A380s. The product is fine and a lot better than what you’ll get on a lot of airlines but don’t expect to be blown away.
