Etihad is running an Economy & Business Class fare sale out of the UK and while the fares aren’t exactly staggeringly fantastic there’s definitely value to be had on certain routes. These Economy Class fares will probably have a pretty broad appeal while the Business Class fares will appeal most if you’re a UK-based traveler for whom flying out of other European countries just to get the lower Business Class fares isn’t really an option.

Bottom Line

If you like the look of any of these fares that’s great…but first check that you can’t get a deal/flight you like more elsewhere. Just because one airline has a sale on doesn’t mean that another won’t be offering a better price and other airlines may have schedules that work better for you.

Having said that make sure you remember that not all airlines are equal. If, for example, I had a choice of Etihad or British Airways Business Class I would choose Etihad every single time….unless the price difference was particularly significant. Make sure you know how good/bad a product is before you book.

Here are a couple of reviews to help you out:

As you’ll see from the reviews, Etihad Business Class on the A380 is noticeably better than Business Class on the 777 (which is still a very good product) so try to book an A380 flight if you’re flying up front.

All in all there are a few fares in here which show promise…and those flying out of Edinburgh seem to have the best deals with the Business Class fares to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur looking most attractive.
