Accor is in the process of revamping its Le Club loyalty program right now (a few more details emerged yesterday) but, for the time being, nothing has changed and right now there’s an opportunity to boost your earnings on your next stay made at any Accor Hotel in select European countries.

• Download and open the AccorHotels app
• Find the 3x points reward offer in the app and register**
• Book your stay by 31 March 2019
• Stay at an Accor Hotel (in a participating country) by 30 April 2019
• The offer can be used a maximum of once per member
• Participating countries are:
  • Belgium
  • Ireland
  • Luxembourg
  • The Netherlands
  • Sweden
  • United Kingdom

Thoughts

The first and most important thing to note is this:

The terms specifically say that this offer may only be used once per member so, if you have to make multiple Accor bookings which would qualify for this offer, don’t register until just before you book the reservation which will earn you the most points.

Also, if you need to make more than one booking during this offer period, consider having your spouse or partner make one of the reservations through their account so that you get at least two bites at the cherry.

Here’s the Le Club Accor points earning structure as it stands (points per 10 Euros spent):

As you can see, the number of Reward Points you earn is based on your Accor status and the brand of hotel at which you’re staying.

There’s nothing in the t&cs which would suggest that only base points count so I’m left to assume that all points Rewards Points are tripled in this offer.

This is what the earnings should look like for stays at most Accor brands:

• Classic – 75 points per 10 Euros spent
• Silver – 93 points per 10 Euros spent
• Gold – 111 points per 10 Euros spent
• Platinum – 132 points per 10 Euros spent

With Accor 2,000 Accor Points worth a €40 discount off a future stay 1 Accor Rewards Point is essentially worth €0.02 and this translates to the following rebates:

• Classic – 15.0%
• Silver – 18.6%
• Gold – 22.2%
• Platinum – 26.4%

Nothing incredibly spectacular but worthwhile having if you have a big booking you need to make.
