Both Delta and American have been jockeying for position over the past few weeks ever since they had a spat over an interline agreement (amongst other things). No sooner had American dropped it’s Philadelphia-Tel Aviv route than Delta added more flights to Tel Aviv from it’s JFK base. American, in turn, added flights from Washington Reagan to Atlanta  and appeared to go after Delta (a little bit) by adding flights to Minneapolis, Cincinnati and Indianapolis from La Guardia.

Now the carriers are adding more routes but, for a change, they don’t appear to be taking shots at each other.

Delta’s New Routes To Europe

The service is scheduled to commence on 26 May 2016 and will operate 6 times a week using 767-400ER aircraft

DL023 MUC 14:15 – 18:07 DTW

The outbound flights will fly every day but Saturday while the inbound flights from Munich will fly every day but Sunday.

Minneapolis – Rome

Delta is launching this route on the same day as it’s new Munich route – 26 May 2016.

Here’s another shaky YouTube video (same source), this time of the 767-300 interior:
