It looks like Briggs & Riley has been running a sale over the weekend in which it’s possible top buy a variety of great pieces of luggage at half price. Sadly, the sale appears to end today but with the great deals available for a few more hours, the US and UK sites are worth checking out if you need a new suitcase, carry-on, briefcase, backpack or even tote bag.

Before I go any further (and in case you haven’t read any of my Briggs and Riley posts in the past) I have to confess that I’m a huge Briggs and Riley fan. We have seven pieces of Briggs & Riley luggage in our household which range from checked luggage to carry-on bags and backpacks, and every piece that we’ve bought has been excellent.

More importantly, last year I had reason to test out the amazing lifetime guarantee that Briggs and Riley offers and I can confirm that it really is as good as it sounds. I loved the luggage before I had to use the guarantee and now there isn’t another luggage brand that I’d buy.

USA Sale Examples

The sale on the US website has a little less choice than the sale I can see being offered in the UK (which is unusual) but there are still some great deals to be had.

Hard-side spinners and spinners from my favorite ‘Baseline’ rage are 50% off:

a blue suitcase with wheels

Backpacks, briefcases, cabin spinners, and even tote bags from the Kinzie Street, @work, and Sympatico ranges are also 50% off:

a grey and brown briefcase

a close-up of a bagAnd even the more expensive leather versions of some of these bags are selling for half-price:

a black leather briefcase with a handle

UK Sale Examples

You’ll find a lot of the same items and collections available over on the UK website with backpacks and checked-luggage at the forefront of the sale…

a grey backpack with orange text

…but with trunks and carry-on bags also making an appearance, including items from the ‘Baseline’ collection.

Be aware that sometimes you’ll find that Amazon may offer a similar deal to what’s being shown on the Briggs & Riley website so if you’re sitting on any Amazon gift cards that you bought at a discount or if you have any offers that allow to save with one of your credit cards (20%, 30%, etc…), the Briggs & Riley page on Amazon.com or the Briggs & Riley page on Amazon.co.uk may be worth checking out

Bottom Line

There are a some great Briggs & Riley deals available on the luggage maker’s USA site and its UK site but the deals are only around until the end of today. Even if you’re not traveling right now, this may be a good time to pick up a new carry-on or checked bag for when you’re ready to head back to the skies because, as a general rule, we don’t see discounts better than these on Briggs and Riley luggage.
