Le Club Accor Is Offering Up To 6,000 Bonus Points In Its Latest Promotion

Le Club Accor, the loyalty program for brands such as Sofitel. Raffles, Novotel and Pullman, has released its latest global promotion which offers bonus points to guests making one, two or three stays during the offer period – the more stay you make the larger the points bonus gets.

The Rewards Days From Club Accor

Accor has decided to call this promotion “The Rewards Days” and the headline rules look like this:

• To take advantage of this offer, Le Club AccorHotels loyalty programme members must register for the offer between 6 February and 6 March 2018 (link to registration page)
• The offer is only valid once per member for three stays each of two nights or more, completed during the validity period.
• Stays must be booked between 6 February and 6 March 2018 and completed between 20 February and 2 September 2018 in a Le Club AccorHotels participating hotel (Sofitel, MGallery, Pullman, Grand Mercure, The Sebel, Novotel, Mercure, Mama Shelter, Adagio, ibis, ibis Styles and Adagio Access).
• This offer allows Le Club AccorHotels members to earn a maximum of 6,000 Rewards points: 500 Rewards points following the first stay, 2,500 Rewards points following the second stay, and 3,000 Rewards points following the third stay.

• The Rewards points bonus will be awarded in addition to the Rewards points and Status points a member usually earns on booking an eligible stay in accordance with the general terms and conditions of the Le Club AccorHotels programme.
• This offer does not apply to stays booked in Le Club AccorHotels partner hotels.
• Consecutive stays in the same hotel will not be eligible for this offer.
• Stays that are paid for partially or fully with Rewards points or with one or more Le Club AccorHotels Rewards vouchers will not be eligible to benefit from this offer, nor will they count towards offers requiring multiple stays to earn points.
• To be eligible for this offer, stays must be booked directly via AccorHotels (via the official AccorHotels websites, the AccorHotels mobile apps, the AccorHotels call centre, directly at a hotel) or through a traditional travel agency whose booking system is automatically connected to the AccorHotels booking office.

Thoughts

There are a few things here that you need to keep in mind:

• Only stays of 2 nights or more count towards the promotion
• Once you’ve reached 3 stays there’s no more bonus points you can earn
• Reservations must be made directly through Accor’s booking channels (don’t use the likes of Expedia, Orbitz etc…)

For every 2,000 points earned Accor will give you a €40 voucher towards a future hotel stay so this promotion essentially allows you to earn up to €120 in vouchers – that’s not bad but not incredibly generous either.

The good news here is that stays at budget properties like Ibis Styles count towards this promotion and you have up to the beginning of September to complete the stays needed to earn all the bonus points – that should help make it easier to earn the points and without breaking the bank.

Clearly it would be a much nicer promotion if one night stays counted…but then that ma be asking a bit much at a time when hotel occupancy rates look very healthy.
