Over the past couple of years, most quarters have seen Chase offering a variety of targeted spending bonuses across its co-branded card portfolio. With the second quarter of 2022 about to begin, that run looks set to continue with Chase already letting some customers know what bonuses they can earn from tomorrow.
New Chase Spending Bonuses
Ordinarily, if you want to see what bonuses Chase has targeted you for you need to head over to Chase.com/mybonus, enter your name, your zip code, and the last 4 digits of your Chase credit card into the fields provided and the site will then show you if you have any promotions waiting for you.
If, however, you were targeted for bonuses in the first quarter of this year (as I was), entering your card details today will probably just remind you of what your current bonus offers are (which will be ending today).
This, for example, is what I see if I check what’s available on my Ritz-Carlton credit card:
You may have more luck with cards that weren’t targeted for any offers in Q1 because this is what I’m now seeing on my World of Hyatt Credit Card:
I will be able to earn 5 World of Hyatt points for every dollar on the first $1,500 I spend at gas stations and grocery stores (cumulatively) between 1 April and 30 June 2022.
All my other Chase co-branded credit cards are currently either not showing a bonus being offered or showing the 1Q bonus but as I highly doubt that Chase will be limiting the 2Q bonuses to its World of Hyatt card, I strongly suspect that some holders of cards like the IHG® Rewards Premier credit card (review), the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® credit card (review), and the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card will start to see bonuses on offer from tomorrow (if they can’t see them already).
It’s possible that Chase’s own cards – like the Chase Freedom Flex℠ credit card and the Chase Sapphire Preferred® credit card – may also offer bonuses to select targeted cardholders, but that hasn’t always been the case in past quarters and so shouldn’t be expected this time around.
Bottom Line
If you hold a Chase co-branded credit card there’s a good chance that you’re about to be targeted for a 2Q 2022 spending bonus. Don’t forget to compare the special bonuses that Chase is offering to the value you can get from the other cards in your portfolio as the 2Q bonuses may not be the best deals open to you and don’t forget to visit Chase.com/mybonus tomorrow, 1 April, if you’re not already seeing any 2Q bonuses targeted to your cards.
Have you been targeted for any of these bonus offers?
