Cathay Pacific Lounge Kuala Lumpur

The Cathay Pacific First & Business Class Lounge Kuala Lumpur – In Pictures

I recently spent quite a few hours in Kuala Lumpur International airport and, as the Malaysia Airlines lounges in the satellite terminal are both currently closed for refurbishment, I took a look around to see what other options are currently available. I’ve already posted details of the Malaysia Airlines C.I.P Lounge in the satellite terminal, which is where some Malaysia Airlines passengers are being sent but, as that facility is (a) temporary, (b) small and (c) not exactly impressive, you may want to know what the Cathay Pacific Lounge is like.
Malaysia Airlines CIP Lounge Kuala Lumpur

The Malaysia Airlines C.I.P Lounge Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia Airlines has three lounges in Kuala Lumpur International Airport – one in the regional terminal (main terminal) and two in the satellite terminal from where the international flights depart. The two lounges in the satellite terminal (the Business Class lounge and First Class lounge) are currently closed for renovations with a scheduled re-opening date of 22 January 2018. With that in mind, and because Kuala Lumpur is such a major transit point for travelers, I'm taking a look at 3 options oneworld flyers have when passing through

Review: Qatar Airways Al Safwa First Class Lounge Doha

The Al Safwa First Class Lounge in Doha is one of those places you really have to see to believe because it's unlike any other lounge airline lounge I've ever been in. The Al Mourjan Business Class lounge in the same terminal is probably one of the best Business Class lounges around....but, in its own way, the Al Safwa Lounge is on a whole other level.

Review: Qantas First Class Lounge Auckland

Getting to the Qantas lounges at Auckland International Airport first means navigating your way through the maze of duty free shops you’ll find after you clear airport security. Once though the duty free zone look for a sign pointing to the right that looks like the one below and follow the direction of the arrow.

Review: Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge London Heathrow T4 – First Class

I'm going to be flying with Malaysia Airlines in a little over a month and it was while I was looking over my upcoming itinerary that I remembered that I hadn't yet posted a review of my visit to the Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge at London Heathrow earlier this year....so here it is.
Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge Hong Kong - Business Class

Review: Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge Hong Kong (Business Class)

I recently wrote about a visit to the SilverKris Lounge in Hong Kong where Joanna and I used the First Class area courtesy of our Singapore Airlines Suites Class booking. The SilverKris Business Class lounge shares and entrance with the First Class facility so, while I was there, I took the opportunity to take a look around the Business Class area and to take some pictures.

Review: Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge Hong Kong (First Class)

I didn't really know what to expect of the First Class SilverKris lounge in Hong Kong as, on the one hand Singapore Airlines has a strong reputation as a premium carrier (so the lounge should be good) but, on the other hand, Hong Kong isn't the airline's base and lounges at outstations are never as good as the ones at an airline's home.

Review: Cathay Pacific First & Business Class Lounge Tokyo Narita T2

After a very nice few days exploring Tokyo it was time for the next leg of our trip - it was on to Hong Kong in Business Class with Cathay Pacific. I'll be reviewing our flight on a Cathay Pacific A330 in the next few days but first I thought I'd take a look at the First & Business Class Lounge the airline offers its customers at Tokyo Narita's Terminal 2.

Review: Asiana Business Class Lounge Seoul Incheon Airport

Qatar Airways doesn't have its own lounge at Seoul Incheon airport (it doesn't have its own lounge at a lot of European airports either) so it has an agreement in place with Asiana which allows Qatar Airways Business Class flyers to use the Asiana Business Class lounge before their flights. I got a chance to try out this lounge on my recent trip to Seoul.
