I passed though Stockholm on one of my Qatar Airways trips not too long ago and with various airlines currently offering some great Business Class fares out of Stockholm (and other Nordic cities) I thought it was time that I posted a review of the Aviator Lounge in the non-schengen area of Stockholm Arlanda Terminal 5.
The DAA Executive Lounge at Dublin Airport's Terminal 1 is the primary lounge for the terminal and, as you'll see from the sign near the entrance, it's the lounge for a whole host of airlines and lounge programs including British Airways, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, KLM, and Priority Pass.
Finnair has two Business Class lounges at Helsinki airport - one within the Schengen area of the airport and the other which serves mostly long-haul destinations. On this visit I arrived into Helsinki on Finnair from a non-Schengen country so I had a very short walk to the lounge which sits next to Gate 52.
Cathay Pacific offers a First and a Business Class lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 3 and both are less than 18 months old thanks to a significant renovation project which ended in November 2016. I reviewed the First Class lounge in an earlier blog post (I liked it) so, on my latest visit to Heathrow Terminal 3, I decided to see just how good (or bad) the Cathay Pacific T3 Business Class lounge is.
The Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX offers gates used by all the oneworld airlines that fly in and out of Los Angeles (including American Airlines). As such the oneworld lounge LAX in the Tom Bradley Terminal (colloquially known as TBIT) acts as the Business Class lounge for all these airlines and is the lounge I visited when flying with British Airways last month.
Qantas offers some of the best First Class lounges in the world and as a fan of the airline's First Class lounge in Los Angeles and even the recently opened Business Class lounge in London, I was genuinely excited to revisit the Sydney Qantas First Class lounge to remind myself of what it's like.
The Aspire Lounge at Larnaca Airport opened earlier this year and is a remodelled version of the Swissport lounge which served travelers for years. To get to the lounge you need to pass through security, enter the duty free area and take a left. In the hallway behind the duty free area (near a Burger King) you'll find an elevator and stairs up to the first level where the entrance to the lounge is located.
After flying in to Paris from Doha on Qatar Airways I had a few hours to kill before my connecting flight on to London. I had done my research before getting to Paris so I knew that the Cathay Pacific First & Business Class lounge would be the best place to spend some time. The Cathay Pacific lounge is in Terminal 2 at Paris Charles De Gaulle airport and, more specifically, it’s airside in the connector building between Terminals 2A & 2C and one level up from the gates.
Malaysia Airlines has three lounges in Kuala Lumpur International Airport – one in the regional terminal (main terminal) and two in the satellite terminal from where the major international flights depart. The two lounges in the satellite terminal (the Business Class lounge and First Class lounge) are currently closed for renovations with a scheduled re-opening date of 22 January 2018. With that in mind, and because Kuala Lumpur is such a major transit point for travelers, I’m taking a look at 3 options oneworld flyers have when passing through
It's here! The Qantas London Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3 opened its doors to the media today and will open to guests from tomorrow (29 November 2017). I was lucky enough to get an invitation to official opening hosted by Alan Joyce (Qantas Group CEO) and got a chance to see inside the lounge and to take some pictures of the new facility.
