Ebates has been getting quite a bit of attention recently with its partnership with Amex's Membership Rewards and with its recent good discount on Marriott bookings. Now it's back with a very good cashback offer for bookings at various IHG brands (InterContinental, Crowne Plaza etc..).

IHG has launched a promotion which may be of interest to anyone looking to book stays of 3 nights or longer at select InterContinental properties in Africa, Australia, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.

British Airways has only just come off a very good winter sale and now it's launching a luxury holiday sale which runs through to Monday 18 February. Long-haul and short-haul destinations are all included and, in some cases, the flash sale makes it cheaper to book a flight with accommodation that the flight alone.

IHG has launched a 5-day flash sale on select properties in the UK and Ireland. With IHG also currently running its Free Nights Faster promotion which is offering a minimum of 40,000 bonus points, this flash sale could be a useful tool to help you earn the bonus(es) on offer while keeping costs low.  

Accor Hotels (the chain that covers brands like Sofitel and Novotel) is currently running a sale in which you can save up to 40% if you're a member of the Le Club Accorhotels loyalty program (which is free to join).

One of the things I love most about writing this blog is that the research I have to do means that I'm constantly learning new things about the travel industry and constantly discovering ways I can save cash when I travel. While I'm a big fan of making airline bookings way in advance I'm beginning to hold off from making any hotel/accommodation bookings until much closer to my actual trips - I'm finding that I'm getting better deals that way and, by delaying the reservations I make, I'm finding myself in a better position to make the most of any hotel promotions that come around.

Hilton has launched its end of year Asia Pacific sale and there are good discounts available at some of the hotelier's more popular properties. If you're looking to travel to the Maldives, Australia, China, Thailand, Singapore or just about anywhere else east of Europe this is a sale you should probably be looking into.

Hyatt is currently running a promotion in conjunction with its four Andaz-branded resorts which could be a very nice money saver if you're looking to book a trip within the next couple of weeks.

IHG Rewards released its latest PointBreaks list yesterday afternoon (for reservations through February 2019) but, although I posted details of the full list at the time, I've only now had the time to take a proper look at what's on offer this time around.

IHG has now released the list of hotels and resorts which are participating in its latest PointBreaks promotion. These hotels are bookable from as little as 5,000 points per night while the more popular properties on the list cost either 10,000 or 15,000 points per night. A quick glance through the list shows 4 InterContinental properties are on offer (some aren't exactly new to PointBreaks!) - two cost 10,000 points per night and two cost 15,000 points per night and one of them could be the best deal in this list.
