The Accor Hotels worldwide “Private Sale” is now live and offering a variety of discounts and promotions depending on where you’re looking to book. The deals vary from 25% to 40% and the dates for which the promotion is valid vary from region to region.

Accor Hotels isn’t exactly a household hotel name here in the US but with over 3,700 hotels spread out across 92 countries (that’s almost as many as Starwood, Hyatt and Carlson Rezidor put together) this isn’t a chain to discount lightly.

There’s no doubting that Accor’s home territory is Europe (where the chain is a big player in most countries) but this sale also offers discounts in every major region of the world…including North America and Mexico.

Participating Hotels

2,800 of Accor’s 3,700+ hotels are participating in this promotion (which annoys me because I think all hotels should be forced to participate – you’re either part of the chain or you’re not!) and you’ll find the full list via this link (.pdf).

Accor Hotels includes upscale brands such as Banyan Tree, Fairmont, Sofitel and Raffles so those tend to be the brands that I’m drawn to when a sale like this comes around.

A quick look through the list of participating hotels shows that, although not all the really famous properties are taking part (Raffles Singapore for example) there are still some very nice properties to choose from….including….

The new Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour….

…and even the Sofitel Bora Bora Private Island:

I’m not trying to suggest that you’ll find amazing rates at all of these properties but they are all participating in this sale so rates should be cheaper than they normally are.

Be aware that bookings in this promotion are not flexible so if your plans are still fluid you should either firm them, up asap or pass on this sale – all reservations will require prepayment by credit card.
