With Europe now open to fully vaccinated travelers visiting from the United States and with travel within Europe currently more relaxed than it has been for over a year, Mandarin Oriental has launched a promotion in which it’s offering guests a “3rd night free” at ten European properties as well as its property in Abu Dhabi.
Participating properties:
- Mandarin Oriental, Munich
- Mandarin Oriental, Paris
- Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid
- Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona
- Mandarin Oriental, Geneva
- Mandarin Oriental, Milan
- Mandarin Oriental, Prague
- Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London
- Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum
- Mandarin Oriental, Bosphorus, Istanbul (+ a €100 credit)
- Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi
A little perplexingly, the promotion page for the 3rd-night free offer doesn’t appear to provide a link to the promotion’s terms and conditions so I can’t be sure what dates the promotion is supposed to cover or what blackout dates are being applied.
From the few searches that I’ve carried out, I’ve been able to see that the promo code “KONEMN” is what allows a guest to search for availability for the 3rd-night free offer and that availability can vary widely from property to property.
The Mandarin Oriental in Munich and the Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona, for example, seem to have quite a few dates blacked out, while the Mandarin Oriental in Paris is currently showing excellent availability into August 2022.
Also, while the information from the Mandarin Oriental in Paris appears to suggest that the 3rd-night free rate will be bookable through 19 May 2022,…
….the information from the Mandarin Oriental in London appears to suggest the promotion will be available for bookings made by 30 April 2022…
…and the information from the Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona appears to suggest the promotion will be available for bookings made by 30 April 2022.
This would appear to mean that each Mandarin Oriental property may have its own cut-off date for bookings relating to this promotion so make sure that you check the individual property details carefully before attempting to make any bookings.
Bottom Line
If you’re looking for a luxury break in Europe or in Abu Dhabi and have reasonably deep pockets, you could do worse than consider the Mandarin Oriental properties that are currently offering a 3rd night free on stays of at least 3 nights. Before you book, however, it’s always worth checking what deals are available at your chosen Mandarin Oriental property through agents specializing in luxury travel or even through programs like AMEX FHR to ensure that what you end up paying by booking the 3rd-night free promotion is genuinely the best deal.
