Qatar Airways has published a number of promotional fares for travel between the UK and various cities in Asia and Africa that will need to be booked in the next three days if they interest you. On the Business Class side there are one or two fares that may be of interest if you don’t enjoy positioning into Europe to pick p the better fares and one or two Economy Class options aren’t too bad either.

All the fares below will earn you British Airways Tier Points & Avios but, before planning your trip, be sure to note my advice on maximizing the tier points you earn on Qatar Airways flights.

Bottom Line

A few of the fares look interesting as long as you’re based close enough to the airport from which they originate. Personally speaking I would almost always choose to wait for the cheap deals out of continental Europe…but then I don’t have to travel with children or travel with baggage, both of which make positioning a lot harder.

On the Business Class side the fare to Goa from Birmingham looks good and the fare to Bangkok out of London isn’t terrible either. Kathmandu is rarely seen at super-cheap prices out of Europe so the fare out of London isn’t bad at all neither is the £2,779 fare fro Sydney out of Edinburgh.

On the Economy Class side of things I could be tempted with any of the fares under £500 but, just as with the Business Class fares, they need to be compared to fares available on non-stop flights before a solid decision can be made on how good they are.
